We congratulate David and Pat McEwan on winning our Petanca tournament. In a very enjoyable final Dave and Pat managed to beat Johannes and Susanne Bjorner with Charles and Audrey Marigold getting third place prize.
Our thanks to NBA, our Administrators, for their very generous sponsorship and to John Brookes who kindly gave us his time free of charge. His singing got everyone in the mood for a great evening which carried on into the dark with most people bringing along food and drink to make a night of the event.
Unfortunately we ran out of light and had to finish the tournament the next day but the whole experience bodes very well for the future. We learned a lot and hope to build on it in future events.
Our thanks also to those from further afield who signed up and came along helping to provide some great games to watch.
